Who we are

Hello everyone ! My name is Arantza but you can also call me Valery; it’s my middle name and much easier to pronounce. I have 2 kids and they are my biggest reason for starting this business. I started decorating when I was pregnant with my second child. It was for his baby shower and I thought “How hard can it be?”(it was quite hard) ; and with that single thought I started A.V.A.Balloons.

We are a family business. I truly could not do the job I wholeheartedly love to do without the help and support of my parents.

My dad builds all of my backdrops and makes my ideas come to life, he does the heavy lifting when needed and never complains. My mom helps me with the setups. Not only does she help unload, hand me material when needed, and is a great pair of second eyes, she is most importantly there with me through the tough times I have. When the heat is a lot to handle outdoors and the balloons are popping, she reminds me of the bigger picture. When the balloons aren’t cooperating or the placement looks off, she is there to tell me it will all workout.
